Hello every one having a great day.
After a delayed start we finally got going and had a trouble free journey to Beamish.
We arrived at 12 noon just in time for lunch, but we had to have lunch in the coach because of the fine drizzle.We got into groups and went off to explore the museum. We travelled on an old fashioned tram and visited an old dentist,bank,teachers house and a co-op as it would have been in 1913. We also went down a drift mine and experienced the awful,damp conditions that the men worked in. We left Beamish at 3.30 p.m and continued our journey to Bamburgh full of excitement and anticipation. We arrived at the Sunningdale hotel at 5:oo p.m. We eagerly went up to our rooms, dragging our cases behind us. After a brief settling in we came down to the lounge and had a health and safety talk with the manager (Paul). After our introduction we had our dinner which was spaghetti bolognaise followed by fruit flavored yoghurt. Dinner was lovely! After dinner we went back to our rooms to unpack then came back down to do this blog for you!
